Jean Louis is 22 years old and lives with his foster family. He has completed 12th grade which is a huge accomplishment as only 20% of the population in Haiti has the opportunity to attend high school.

Jean Louis’s dream is to study medicine in Cuba or Canada. He said that he wants to be a doctor because there aren’t enough doctors in Haiti. Jean Louis also has an interest in becoming a pilot or an economist but to “be a doctor” is what he wants to do most and he’s hopeful that OTP will continue their support to help him attend university.

Sanndi is 20 years old, in 11th grade, and hopes to move on to become a flight attendant with she is finished with highschool.  In 2018 found her biological family after having been separated in the 2010 earthquake.  In 2019, along with Danaelle Gabrielle, Sanndi transitioned to supported independent living.  This year, Sanndi has chosen to live with her biological family in a small town outside of Jacmel.  Olive Tree Projects will continue to support Sanndi by paying for her school fees.  Sanndi  is thankful for the support of Olive Tree Projects has given her and looks forward to the day she can support herself.
